I’m ICT Officer and Head of Social Media at Kenya Red Cross. Social Media for me was pastime but when i joined Kenya Red Cross it became a calling, when through social media we saved lives. I launched #iVolunteer a vitual volunteer it has become a success as now every Kenyan on social media, blogger, techies etc can volunteer to report emergency via social media or donate their time and skill virtually.
